PB & J Houseworks may not operate the way you
have seen on television or heard through the grapevine. Our
background comes from a customer focused, safety concerned
point of view. You will see we embody these ideals through
our actions. |

This picture shows a project of ours in the
demolition phase. It’s the end of a normal working day. The
floors are clear of debris and tools. There are no hazardous
situations along the opened wall cavities, e.g., protruding
mails, bare electrical wires. The area is well lit and dust
control has helped limit the spread of dirt and debris to
the construction area only. |
|
Being
customer focused with high quality does not mean a
contractor delivers high-end, expensive solutions. It means
the contractor delivers exceptional attention to detail
while delivering the agreed design to the agreed
specifications. For example, hand sketches and scaled
layouts may meet our needs. Our we may need to partner with
an architect and engineer to provide the refined design and
added structural integrity we desire. |

One of the most noted
issues clients relate about their contractors is missing the
project completion date. Satisfaction in the area of
project timelines is something that starts during the
initial scoping of the project and carries through the
completion of the project. |
|
Establishing a timeline using a Gantt chart,
like the one we used here, provides a documented basis for
establishing a project baseline and a means to track
progress against milestones and major completion of tasks. |

Lastly, we’d like to show you an example of
our cost estimation summary page. You can see major areas of
work have both material and labor components broken out.
Linked spreadsheets are used to generate a bottoms-up,
detailed build of expected costs and budgeted items. All of
our estimation work is shared with the customer. Our clients
know there are no hidden costs, padded budgets, or elevated
labor charges because these data are always available for
audit and review. Cost, quality and delivery:
you can have it all. |
